SmugMug > keywords > penguin > Penguin Chicks in Low Light. Same pair of chicks. Very low light problem necessitating the use of high ISO since we weren't allowed to use a flash. These photos get a lot of grain when blown up to the original size.
SmugMug > keywords > penguin > Penguin Chicks Waiting. This is a very low light photo without a flash taken with the ISO cranked up on my D700. It gets grainy when its blown up but, the chicks at least come out somewhat. I couldn't see the blade of grass in the way in the low light.
